A Dr. File Finder Favorite -- Resco Backup
I'm a strong believer in backups and that goes for mobile devices
as well as PC's. So, if you're looking for a backup solution for your
Palm or Pocket PC device, take a look at Resco Backup. These
folks have a history of cool programs for mobile devices and this one is
no exception. This program is easy-to-use and intuitive, perfect for
users with all levels of experience. I've tried a number of backup
solutions for mobile devices and I think I like Resco Backup the
best.
You can setup the program to backup the things you want when you want,
and that's a great feature as far as I'm concerned. The backup will run
automatically on a schedule you determine and you really don't have to
think about it much at all. You can tell Resco Backup when to
backup your data and how many backups to keep. For example, if you want
to keep 5 backup then when it gets to the sixth backup it removes the
oldest of the backups. In this way you don't fill up your memory card
with an unlimited number of backups. The program lets you do both full
and partial backups and the backups can use compression so they take up
less space. The program has a nice set of features that gives you a lot
of flexibility when it comes to backing up your Palm or Pocket PC
device. I like it so well that it's not only a Pick, but I'm also making
it a Dr. File Finder Favorite and those are few and far between.
So, if you're looking for a way to backup the data on your portable
devices this may be the solution you need. Give it a try, I
recommend it.
