This technique ensures delivery on time and to a high quality by allowing scope changes during the timebox. The important thing about time boxing is that the dates are not flexible, but the deliverables are. Without time boxing, when the deliverables cannot be delivered, the deadline slips. With time boxing, the deadline is fixed, and the deliverables are adjusted. It is ideally suited for use in agile systems development using methodologies such as DSDM.

Timebox Manager benefits both large corporations, smaller companies and individual users.

It is valuable for:

Organisations committed to agile development techniques. Organisations making the transition from traditional waterfall methods to agile ways of working. Project managers in charge of a number of timeboxes. Project leaders running a single timebox teams.
